Can We Stop Apologizing For Feeling?
When Keira died, people kept apologizing to me for crying.
As if their tears were somehow wrong.
As if feeling was too much.
I want to say this clearly…
You never have to apologize for feeling. Not for crying.
Not for breaking open.
Not for being human.
What I witnessed so clearly is just how deeply our culture struggles with emotion.
We’ve been taught to hold it in. To hide it. To protect others from our pain.
But the truth is…
We were made to feel!
And sadness is just another form of love.
So can we stop apologizing for our tears?
Can we stop trying to manage other people’s feelings by denying our own?
Let yourself FEEL the full expansiveness of that love.
Because we came here to FEEL! So FEEL it all.
Live Like Keira. Feel Good Always.
